Finding Wisdom In Compassion: The Buddhist Path
According to Buddha’s teaching on the Four Noble Truths, suffering is part of life; it has a cause; it has a solution; and there is a path that leads to the end of suffering. When the causes of suffering are discussed, selfishness, or ego-clinging, emerges as a root cause of the suffering we encounter. But how can we uproot ego-clinging? In this talk, Khenpo Rinpoche will describe the role of love and compassion (Relative Bodhicitta) and wisdom (Ultimate Bodhicitta) as steps on the path to liberation.

Naturally Liberating Whatever You Meet: Instructions to Guide You on the Profound Path
In 1958, Communist armies invaded Kham in Tibet, destroying monasteries and imprisoning monks. The previous summer, Khenpo Gangshar foresaw that the difficulties in Tibet were going to escalate. To help dharma pr
actitioners in Tibet progress rapidly on the path so they could meet these challenges skillfully, he gave this teaching on Naturally Liberating Whatever You Meet. Thrangu Rinpoche, Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, and Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche received this profound cycle of teachings, which describe how to progress rapidly by engaging with practice whatever happens to you. It includes advice on the wisdom of emotions, and taking the bardo state as well as sleep as the path.
Only a few people who actually received this teaching remain alive; it is a rare opportunity for us to host Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche, who received this teaching, and who can transmit to us the wisdom of being able to work with whatever comes to us in life.
