Khenpo Karthar Rinpoché: A Remembrance, Talk 1: An Unexpected Retreat

This week’s talk by Lama Kathy Wesley is entitled: Khenpo Karthar Rinpoché: A Remembrance, Talk 1: An Unexpected Retreat. After returning from a four-month retreat at Karma Triyana Dharmachakra Monastery and the Karmé Ling Retreat Center in Upstate New York, Lama Kathy gives a brief overview of her retreat, which included a two-month Sacred Tibetan Reading Transmission and the 49 Days of Prayer for her teacher, Khenpo Karthar Rinpoché, who passed away while Lama Kathy was on the East Coast. She also discusses feelings students have when their Master passes away and offers some suggestions for working with those feelings.
